Release Notes for V21.9

Audience Builder

Update Form Builder Sites Output Fields

The Audience Builder output field “Form Builder Sites” [formerly known as the Dragon Sites field] will now include behaviors, attributes, a subscriptions requested version and the promo code collected on the page.

Email Builder

Filter by Deployment Type in Email Builder Calendar

The Email Builder Calendar can now filter the deployments that display by deployment type.

Form Builder

Ability to Use the “CurrentNoticePromocode” to Load Prices/Terms/Versions on a Form

A new “Use Current Renewal Promocode” option is available on the “Campaign Paid” element. This option is turned off by default but when turned on, the form will check to see if there is an available Current Renewal Promocode for existing customers. When there is one available for the subscription that is currently serving, that Promocode will be used as the priority for showing the price/term offers to the customer on the form. The text for each available option will be pulled in from the Campaign Tool and displayed along with the price. When there is no text available from the Campaign Tool it will be autogenerated to include the price, issues & version.

New “Residential Address” Fields

Form Builder can now collect the Residential Addresses for customers. The existing “Address” fields have been renamed to “Business Address” and a new set of fields for “Residential Address” are now available. For forms that are collecting both “Business Address” and “Residential Address,” a “Shipping Address” will need to be designated. Currently “Business Address” is set as the default “Shipping Address”. This can be changed by selecting “Designate as Shipping Address” on the “Residential Address.

“Campaign Paid” Element Updates

Some updates have been made to the way the “Campaign Paid” element works on forms. Now when a campaign Promocode is used on a form, either in the URL or by inputting it into the promo field, the only prices/terms that will be available for the customer are those that exist on the Promocode. These prices/terms are also filtered and validated against the shipping address country selected by the user. If the price/term the customer selected is not valid for the country selected, the user has the option to remove the Promocode. If the form also contains “Paid Content,” priority is given to the campaign Promocode. The text for each available option will be pulled in from the campaign tool to be displayed along with the price. When there is no text available from the campaign tool it will be autogenerated to include the price, issues & version.

New “Campaign Requested Version” Element

The new “Campaign Requested Version” element can be added to a form for usage in expressions and will have the same available options as “Requested Version”. This field is always set to “hidden” but when used in combination with the new “Campaign Paid” element, expressions can be built to show/hide page content based on the user’s version selection from the campaign Promocode when available. Remember if you are using both “Paid Content” and “Campaign Paid” on the same form, the expressions for versions should be built using both “Requested Version” and “Campaign Requested Version”.

Odyssey

Ability to Pause Form Submit Element and Make Changes While Voyage is in Progress

The Form Submit Element can now be paused while a voyage is in progress if the element has not yet been visited. When paused, a new form can be selected.

Ability to Pause A/B Test Element and Make Changes While Voyage is in Progress

The A/B Test Element can now be paused while a voyage is in progress if the the test time period has not yet ended. When paused, the win condition and number of testers can be changed.

Allow User to Change Dynamic Content and Rules in a Paused Email

When an Email Element is paused, existing Dynamic Content versions and rules can also be modified.

Deactivate the Apply Buttons in the Designer Until the Content is Loaded

To prevent audience marketers from inadvertently deleting their email content, the apply and apply and close buttons in the email designer will now be disabled until the content is loaded.

Ability to Pause Split Element and Make Changes While the Voyage is in Progress

The split element can now be paused and the split percentages modified while the voyage is in progress.

Update Remove Internal Duplicates Functionality

The remove internal duplicates functionality has been updated so that duplicate email addresses and duplicate customer IDs will be prevented from entering the voyage within the same visit. Previously, this option prevented duplicate emails from deploying to the same email address in the same send, but did not remove the duplicates from the voyage. This will prevent recipients who may have multiple records from receiving, for example, both split emails or both A/B test emails.

Olytics

Appending Parameters to iframed Form Builder Forms in Personalization

Personalization and Meter Messages will now automatically append the “r” and “oly_anon_id” parameters with merge variables as well as the promo code parameter set to “default” to Iframed Form Builder forms within the content if not already found.

Appending Parameters to Form Builder Links in Personalization

Personalization and Meter Messages will now automatically append the “r”, “oly_anon_id”, and “return_url” parameters with merge variables as well as the promo code parameter set to “default” to Form Builder links within the content if not already found.

Units

Un-Assign Unit Members

In the ABM/Units UI found in Audience Search, users can now un-assign members from existing units. This allows the reassignment process to be a faster process.

Web Services / API

New “CurrentRenewalPromocode” Field Available for Subscription Lookup APIs

All subscription lookup APIs will now return the “CurrentRenewalPromocode” field when available. For the existing currently serving subscriptions, when a renewal notice is generated and approved, the current renewal Promocode will be returned. This current Renewal Promocode can be looked up via the Promocode API and then used on Renewal Forms. This will ensure each customer is getting their correct renewal rate.
