Facebook Drops 3rd Party Data for Ad Delivery

    Last updated: May 20, 2024

Facebook’s latest change reinforces the value of first party data for media and publishing companies vs shared distribution channels like social and programmatic.

Most marketing/advertising campaigns will likely have at least a little of everything but relying too much on someone else’s data is always a risk, and won’t scale very well as their prices increase, or they can cut you off entirely like this.

Omeda’s Facebook integration allows you to push your own first party data right from your audience database into your Facebook Ads Manager account. Our most recent update allows for a recurring sync, meaning your latest data can update your custom audience on a nightly basis so your ads are always targeting the most up to date list.

This integration is free to all of our current database clients and can be set up in minutes. Contact ClientSuccess@Omeda.com if you have any questions or would like to receive our documentation.
